Wiley H. Sharp III is a Senior Investment Banker at Silicon Prairie Capital Partners LLC, a SEC and FINRA-registered broker-dealer focused on serving middle market companies. He joined the firm in 2023. Mr. Sharp is an experienced corporate finance professional with extensive experience in business, market, and credit analysis, capital markets, and valuations. Mr. Sharp is skilled in creating and implementing financing strategies and transactions, having worked on both the issuer and investor sides of direct and syndicated loans, private placements, public offerings of debt and equity, and project financing.

Prior to his current role, Wiley co-founded Altus Financial Group LLC in 2005, a financial consulting firm specializing in institutional-grade disclosure and valuation models. He also founded Lafayette Bay Advisors LLC in 2021, an advisory firm focused on strategic planning, financing, and mergers & acquisitions for large family-owned businesses. His experience also includes serving as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at The trū Shrimp Company, where he developed and implemented corporate strategies for financing and shareholder value enhancement. Additionally, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Aspirity Holdings LLC, where he managed corporate financial operations and designed liquidity, risk management, and capitalization strategies, including raising over $30 million from retail investors through a continuous direct public offering of subordinated debt. He has successfully completed over 50 investment banking assignments valued in excess of $3 billion across various industries.

Mr. Sharp holds Series 7 and Series 63 FINRA licenses and previously held a Series 24 license. He earned a B.S. in Management from Tulane University in 1979, where he was recognized as a National Merit Scholar and Tulane Scholar and was on the Dean’s List. He is currently a Director at Kadance Corporation.
